This policy explains refunds and cancellations for passes and top-ups bought on The Bill Split. Because we sell digital access and AI receipt scans that are delivered instantly, the following terms apply.
Passes give you app access plus a set number of AI receipt scans, valid for a stated period. Top-ups add scans that do not expire while you hold an active pass. Manual splitting is included with any active pass.
Passes are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically. There is nothing to cancel to avoid future charges — a pass simply expires at the end of its validity.
Passes and top-ups are digital purchases delivered instantly, so all sales are final and non-refundable — this includes unused passes, partially used passes, and change of mind.
The only exception is a genuine billing error — for example, if you were charged more than once for the same purchase, or charged without receiving your pass. Email us with your payment reference and we will check it and refund any verified duplicate or erroneous charge to your original payment method.
Email support@thebillsplit.com from the address on your account with your payment reference. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Verified duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded via Razorpay, typically within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.
