Help & FAQ

How splitting by parts works

When two or more people share a dish, you split it by parts. Each person gets a number of parts, and the item’s cost is divided in proportion. By default everyone on an item gets 1 part — so a ₹400 dish shared by two is ₹200 each.

  • Had a bigger share? Give yourself more parts — e.g. 1.5 vs 1.
  • Only had half? Tap the to drop a part to 0.5.
  • The parts on an item should add up to a whole number (e.g. 1 + 1, or 1.5 + 0.5).
  • Quantity (×2, ×3) is just a label — it does not multiply the split, since the price already covers all of them.

For taxes, service charges, and discounts, use Proportional instead — it spreads the amount across everyone in proportion to what they each ordered.
